What SawdustDen is for

Everything on SawdustDen is for general education and hobby use. Our projects, cut lists and guides are written for beginners learning woodworking at home.

Safety first

Woodworking involves sharp tools, power tools, dust and heavy materials. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for every tool you use. Wear eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask where appropriate, keep guards in place, and never rush a cut. If a step feels unsafe or beyond your skill level, stop and get help from someone experienced. You are responsible for your own safety in your own shop, and SawdustDen is not liable for injuries or damage that result from following a guide.

Accuracy

We check our cut lists and measurements before publishing, but wood varies, tools vary, and a measurement can still be misread. Measure twice before you cut, and verify critical measurements against your own project before cutting expensive material.

Not professional advice

SawdustDen does not provide professional carpentry, construction, electrical or plumbing advice. For structural work, wiring, plumbing or anything that affects the safety of a building, hire a qualified professional.
